Basic Corrections Academy.
If you’re interested in a very challenging and rewarding career in law enforcement, the Basic Corrections Academy might be the right fit for you, especially if you are highly motivated, trustworthy, dedicated, ethical, service-oriented, a solid communicator, self-motivated, and professional.
A highly trained staff will instruct you in leadership, subject control, security, behavioral supervision, and many other skills that will prepare you to be an effective Deputy Sheriff assigned to the Court & Jail Division and equip you for numerous opportunities in the law-enforcement field.
This is a highly selective program. Many will apply, but only those who possess the ability to excel in a rigorous training environment and pass a comprehensive background check will be accepted. The program is eight hours a day for eight weeks.
