The Technology / Integrity Division is comprised of the Internal Affairs Section, Information Systems Section and the Regional Electronics Computer Investigation Section. Major H. Bruce Knox serves as the Division Commander.
Most of the time it is somewhat unusual to see members of other Divisions of the Sheriff's Office working at your work site. While the inter-workings of the HCSO overlap more than many people realize, generally each Division tends to its own work area. Everyday exceptions are two of the three Sections of the Technology/Integrity Division (TID). The Information Systems Section has everyday interaction with every Division through the Sheriff's computer network, with nearly 500 workstations and servers. The Internal Affairs Section also is involved with each Division on a daily basis. To learn more about each of the Sections, click on a link from the above gold navigation bar.
The Technology / Integrity Division has the distinction of having three of its members earn Employee of the Year awards in the past few years. Steve Overberg was awarded the Civilian Employee of the Year in 2003. Detective Richard Sweeney of the RECI Section was awarded Law Enforcement Officer of the Year and Lynnette Stevens of the Information Systems Section earned Civilian Employee of the Year in 2002.
The RECI Section was honored with the "Contribution to Law Enforcement" Award at the 36th Police Appreciation Awards Dinner held at the Sharonville Convention Center May 12, 2003. This honor includes earning the "Sheriff's Award of Merit" for exceptional contributions to law enforcement.
