The Information Systems Section is responsible for designing, procuring, maintaining and training involving the Sheriff's computer network's 600+ workstations, several servers, switches and routers needed to make the network function.  ISU personnel design and program most of the databases used by the Sheriff's Office and maintain liaisons with the Regional Computer Center and law enforcement networks.

The Information Systems Section is also responsible for development and maintenance of the public web site and an extensive intranet.
