In addition to the normal patrol and support units, the Patrol Division operates a Marine Patrol on the Ohio River and its tributaries to enforce the watercraft laws of the state of Ohio, provide rescue service, conduct boat inspections, and provide general assistance to the boating public. The Marine Patrol consists of three patrol boats which are fully equipped to handle any situation.
