Chief Deputy Sean Donovan

The Chief Deputy of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is the highest, non-elected, law enforcement position in Hamilton County and is second in command of the Sheriff’s Office.  The Chief Deputy is responsible for the day to day operations of the Sheriff’s Office, including the Patrol, Corrections, Records, Court Services, Organized Crime and Administrative Divisions.  The Chief Deputy is the commanding officer of over 800 Sheriff’s uniformed and support services personnel.
